Day 2 of Winter Storm

On day 2 of winter storm 2010 Walker woke up running to the windows to see if we still had snow. Of course we did since it was 16 degrees overnight. Only thing was it was not snow any more but a sheet of ice. Everything was frozen! We all bundled up to play one more time before it melted. Wayne tied the sled to Walker's 4-wheeler and walker pulled Reese all over the yard. After a while Walker joined the big boys next door and got to get pulled on their big fast 4-wheeler (what walker calls it).

Reese loves to ride walker's 4-wheeler, only thing she can't reach the peddle, so someone has to ride with her. So here I am 34 weeks pregnant riding around on it...hoping I won't break it!

Snowy Saturday

So far we haven't gotten much snow but the kids have had a good time in it anyway. This is the first snow that Reese has been able to play in. Last year she was only a couple of months old when we got such a good snow. The kids stayed out for about 45 min and came in wet and cold. We got a fire going and drank some hot chocolate to warm up!

Monster Truck Freestyle

Wayne and Walker got to go see the Monster trucks this past Friday night. He liked the monster trucks but I think he liked the four-wheelers and dirt bikers better. They did tricks!

Our little Reese

Here is a few things about Reese...

She loves to eat sweets...candy that is! Just like her mommy! And you never have to worry about seeing what is in her mouth, she will show you!!

Reese likes to be like her big brother Walker. Anything he does, she has to do. These are his glasses!

She likes to watch cartoons. She will go off into our bedroom and will turn our TV on and will watch forever by herself. Makes me laugh!

And last, this is her mad face. She can give the meanest looks. I am not sure what she is upset about here but even her mean looks make me smile.

I just love this girl!!

Warm Weather!

After about 2 weeks of freezing temperatures it finally got warm enough for us to head outside, and boy did we need it. I decided to take walker to the park to practice some soccer. I just signed him up for his first season. He starts next month and I have no idea how to play. Me and Wayne do not know even one rule. I guess I best get busy learning the game. He is so excited about it and is ready to start! It was nice to be outside and even Reese enjoyed kicking her ball around.

Pigtails!

I had to post Reese's first pigtails, she looked so cute! I didn't think I would ever be able to get her to be still to be able to do them but as I was getting dressed this morning she started eating the toothpaste from the bottle and was loving it. It distracted her long enough to get them in. She might have a tummy ache tonight from eating so much toothpaste but it was worth the 20 minutes of cuteness! I just love them!

Christmas with the Meadows

Christmas with the Meadows is always Christmas evening. We start the night out with our favorite meal Irish stew. As soon as we finish we jump into opening presents. Usually the night ends with someone in tears. We are either laughing so hard over a funny present or we are tearing up over the announcement over a future new arrival. We always have a wonderful time with Wayne's family!

Christmas Morning!

For Christmas we got to go back to Georgia to visit family! We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house with both of my sisters and their children. It was a full house! We had so much fun setting up for Christmas morning. The older boys (Wayne, Eric, and Vance) also got to try out the Wii for a couple of hours before midnight!

All the cousins minus Levi at the top of the stairs waiting very patiently to see what they got for Christmas. Nana, Aunt Patty, and Uncle Vance had to hold them back!!
