Superman and Shepherds!

Wednesday night at Awana's the kids dressed like bible characters. Walker was a Shepperd. He didn't have his staff because when his daddy was in the woods getting one for him he got stung by a bee on the ear. It swelled up so big, you couldn't help but laugh at him. I wish I had taken a picture.
At school on Wednesday this kids got to dress up and put on a little parade for their parents. They all were so cute. Walker was Spider man!

NC State Fair!

It's that time again for the North Carolina State fair. Wayne and I love going to the fair, I think just because of all the food. We talk about it so much that our family comes up to go with us also. My parents came up last year and Wayne's mom and Uncle Larry came up this year for it. It is about 10x larger than what we grew up with at the North Ga. State Fair. We took the kids and had a blast.

Our happy family of four!!

Reese in the Monster Truck Wheel

Walker got a candy apple and loved it. Of course he didn't finish it so I finished it off. It was my first candy apple and I loved, loved, loved it!!

After a long day we wear worn out! We all wanted to crash!
Reese got a head start...

Pumpkin Patch

Friday we took the kids to the pumpkin patch they have at Walker's School. They both had a good time walking around looking at all the pumpkins.

Ma and Uncle Larry went with us.

After Reese got her pumpkin she took off....

Trip to Georgia

We had a great trip home last week when we rushed up to see Patty deliver. That was our highlight for the week but also got to enjoy a lot of other stuff while we were there. The county fair was in town so me and Amy took all 5 kids one afternoon. Don't ask me why we did that ourselves but eventually Paw Paw came to help. They had a great time going from one ride to another.
Wednesday was Ma's last day of work. She is now retired and enjoying life. We got to attend her retirement lunch which was at a Japanese restaurant in Kennesaw. We are very happy for her but even more happier that now she will be visiting a lot more.
We also got to go to the "jumpy place" as walker calls it and go bowling with Nana. I even got to go shopping for myself one afternoon and that never happens-Thanks Ma!!
My sister Amy with the little ones...Addison, Levi, and Reese!
The kids enjoyed the bike stunts that were at the fair. They kept saying "That is AWESOME"!!

Ma is going to kill me for posting this one. But isn't she so cute at her retirement lunch!
Congratulations Ma!!
