6 Month Check up

Ivy had her 6 month visit yesterday with her Doctor. She was 15lbs 7oz-25% and 26.5 inches long-75%. She is looking great! There is only one big issue. She failed her gross motor again! There are about 5 or 6 activities that she should be doing like, rolling over, sitting up and she is not doing them. So of course mommy gets in trouble again. Doctor tells me I have to put her down more. So we went home and worked on it. This is the sad face she gives me when it is tummy time...
I am not worried about her but for the next 3 months we are going to have baby boot camp to reach our goals till our 9 month visit. We will pass next time!!

This is what you get to play with when you have a older brother...The Hulk and Spider Man!

Eating is not her thing yet either. It is a big mess to feed this sweet girl. Everything that goes in the mouth...comes right back out!

It's Bow Time

Once again it is hunting season. Hunting with a Bow started this past Saturday and Walker and Wayne have been waiting. Walker is really getting into it this year. He loves to go with his daddy and look for that big buck!!

Reese would love to go to if I would let her. I am holding out on her being my shopping partner but right now she loves her daddy and the outdoors a litte more. Maybe one day!!

6 Months Old

Ivy is six months old today. She is getting more of a little personality. Everyone calls her smiley because she is smiling all the time. She is finally holding her head up and drools everywhere. She loves the Johnny jumper and looks like a ballerina when she is jumping. She is still very spoiled and loves to be held. We are so blessed to have this sweet little girl in our family.

Sisters

Reese loves her little sister. I know I have posted about this before but I love to see Reese cuddly with Ivy. Reese loves to try to hold her and just be her little mommy. So far Ivy doesn't mind but I am sure one day she will.

This pictures were taken after an afternoon nap. Reese herd Ivy wake up and went bolting in to check on her. She stepped up on her stool, peeped over and said "Ivy wake".

Labor Day Weekend

Another Labor Day weekend has come and gone. I enjoy family coming to visit and always hate to see them leave. Ma came up for the whole week and Papa and Nate came on Friday. The kids love to see them. We don't do much because there is not much to do in Clinton but the small things like playing Hide-n-Go seek are always fun and memorable.

Ma and Papa with all the grandkids!

Papa and his Girls after a full day of Dove hunting!

I had to add a picture of Ivy. Even she wanted to be a part of the hunting crew!

Dove Season

Well, it is that time of year again! Opening day of Dove season started Saturday. Papa and Nate came up again this year to join in on the fun! Walker has been counting down the days. He loves to shoot his BB gun and couldn't wait to go hunting.

Henry got to ride shotgun...while the fat buddies rode in the back! What a lucky dog!

This is what happens when you take a little girl hunting...No work, just play...
but the cutest one out there!!
