Family Vaction

We went to Hilton Head Island this year for our summer vacation. My whole family got to go! Both of my sisters with there husbands and children and our parents. We had a great time. There are 7 grandchildren now so that means it is not a very restful vacation but definitely not a dull one. The kids loved the beach and pool and enjoyed being with one another.

Reese and Addison enjoyed running in and out of the water!

Levi and Reese were so cute together!

Walker standing in the hole he dug building a sandcastle! Levi is waiting to knock it over!

Happy Birthday Walker

Walker will be 5 years old on the 31st of this month! My little boy is growing up so fast. We had his party on Saturday so that ma could be here and also we will be on vacation on his birthday. Walker wanted a spider man party and he also wanted a pool party. He was so cute when I told him we could do both. He was so excited. We don't have a pool but we borrowed an inflatable one from a friend and it worked out great. We also put out the slip-n-slide and added lots of water guns for a fun water party. The kids had a blast! We ate pizza, cake, and mini 100 calorie ice cream sandwiches!!(he he he)

yes, the pool was small but the kids didn't care!!

Reese had to do everything the big kids did!!

Happy Birthday Walker!!

Snappy

We have a new family member...his name is Snappy. He is Walker's new pet turtle. Our uncle Larry found him in our front yard and helped built a home for him. He is a snapping turtle and he loves to eat all the dead bugs walker kills for him!!

Last day of school

Walker had his last day of school on Friday. I can't believe it has been a whole school year already. It seems like yesterday when me and Wayne had dropped him off for his first day. He had his end of the year program where they sang some songs and sited some poems. They also got there little diploma. I think I teared up throughout the whole program. They were so cute and did a wonderful job!!

Fishing

Gone Fishing! These boys could fish all day! There is a great lake that a couple at church own and let Wayne and Walker fish on it, and boy do they have the fish in it!! Every time they go they catch tons of fish. Walker loves it. So far they haven't kept any to eat because I refuse to clean them.

Uncle Larry is visiting this week with Ma! (I think he had a good time too!)

T-Ball

Walker had his first t-ball game this past Thursday. His team is the BlueJays and he loves it!
They don't keep score and each team bats all the way through before they change up. Wayne has been helping coach and at the last game he had to leave early for a deacons' meeting, when he left Walker yelled out "Daddy, I will let you know if I hit a homerun!" (so cute)

No training wheels

That's right...No more training wheels. He said he was ready and he did it! I only had to run up and down the driveway behind him about twice. I was so proud of him.

As soon as he got it he wanted to go show daddy, so we put the bike in the van and headed up to the church. Now he is on his bike all the time!

2 Months

Ivy is two months old today!

She weighs 9lbs 8oz and has started smiling at you when you talk to her!!
She is such a sweet baby that I love to kiss and hug!

Mother's Day

We had a wonderful Mother's day. I love being a mother to three wonderful children. Each one are so special to me and I thank God every day for them.

Walker has been so sweet this mother's day. He had counted down each day until Sunday. He had gotten me a present all by himself and couldn't wait to give it to me. The funny part is that I bought it at wal-mart and didn't even know it. Walker had picked up a heart shaped box that had a necklace and earrings in it and put it in the buggy. When we went to check out he gave it to the lady and I never saw it. It was only a three dollar necklace set but it is worth so much more to me. Walker is such a sweet boy and is always taking care of his family!

The kids loved helping me open the presents!

Wayne got me a new Bible and a ring that I have always wanted. The ring is a birthstone ring with Walker, Reese, and Ivy's birthstone. When I was little I would sit in my great-grandmother's lap and look at hers and would always ask which stone was which child. (she had 6 children) I always thought that ring was very special and now I have one of my own!

Ivy's Dedication

Ivy had her dedication this morning at church. She was a sweet girl and did a great job. We are very thankful that God has given us another child and we pray that she grows to know Christ and his Love!

It is so hard to get a family photo. Someone is always upset, tired, crying, or doing something to make the picture interesting. I am glad we are not perfect or we would have a boring family!

Pre-K Lunch

Walker had his Pre-K luncheon Friday after school and the whole family got to go. Walker's class made Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches, fruit skewers, and a yummy cookie dessert for their fa miles. Walker was so excited when we got there. He had to show and tell us everything he had done. He was so happy we were there!

Talent

What Talent! This girl can eat an apple and hold tight to her passy at the same time. She loves her passy and was not going to put it down.

Awana 2010

Walker finished up his last night in Awana with an award ceremony. He has worked hard this past year memorizing scripture and got many badges this year for his vest. This is his last year as a cubbie and next year he moves up to the sparkes. We love the Awana program and very glad we have it at our church!

Tough Girl!

Reese fell yesterday down our brick stairs outside our house. She got pretty banged up! The poor thing has a big bruise on her head and a lot of scares on her nose. She is pretty tough though. She only cried a few minutes and then went straight back to the stairs.

Strawberry Pickin

Yesterday Walker's class went to the Strawberry farm to pick strawberries! I got to go with him and take Reese. We rode a hayride out to were we picked and Reese was red from head to toe in strawberry juice. I think she ate more than she put in the bucket!

They sure were good!

Walker and his friend James!
