Christmas

We have had a very busy Christmas season! It seemed like every night we had something to do. From decorating the house to shopping to making gingerbread houses to Christmas parties, we enjoyed every minute of it. We even got to go home for a couple of days to visit with family.

The church had a Christmas Cantata and Walker got to be a little sheep. He was so cute! We preformed at a retirement center one night and after it was all over and all the little sheep were exiting the stage...Walker turned around and yelled out "Now can we open presents!" everyone started laughing. I don't know why he thought he got presents when he was done, but that is what he wanted to do next.

couple of professional shots

Walker's cousin Nate got a Wii for Christmas. I think Wayne and Bryan enjoyed it more than anyone. This is a pic of them playing tennis. After tennis it was Tiger Woods Golf for over 4 hours.
Mom and Dad enjoyed all the grandbabies!!

Walker got a 4-wheeler for Christmas. He loved it! Him and Nathaniel had a blast riding it together.

More Graduation Pics!

I had to add a few more pictures from Friday's Graduation.

I also received an award on Friday. It was a PHT degree (putting honey through).

This picture I had to post b/c it is so funny. The guys joke around saying that Dr. Wade is always on his blackberry, and as you can tell Dr. Wade is on his phone in the middle of Graduation pics. (not really, we just made him pose for a good laugh)

Graduation Day!!

Today Wayne graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with his Masters of Divinity. It has been a super fast two years since we packed up and moved to Wake Forest. Wayne worked really hard and we are all very proud of him.
Congratulations Wayne!

The Meadows Band

Walker Loves his cousin Nate. When we were home for thanksgiving Walker found his Daddy's guitar at his parents house. Soon papa pulled out Wayne's guitar he played at church when he was little, that a friend had made for him. They sounded pretty good together. Nate said the notes that were out of tune were Walker, but I am not so sure....just kidding Nate!

My new Nephew

Well, we got to come home after all. At the last minute my wonderful father-in-law came and picked me and the kids up. Amy (my sister) ended up having her baby a little early and I was dying to come and see him. He is so tiny compared to Reese, even though he weighed 8lbs 14oz. Baby Levi is so cute and is doing great!

Here is a pic that we sent out to some of our family.
Walker loves to get mail. So everyone can send him something now! (he he)

Reese is finally sleeping through the night. It is such a blessing. This is just her taking a nap. I put her on my bed and went to do somthing and when I came back she was sound a sleep. Walker never did that. She is such a wonderful baby.

We're back!

We're back...that is to the Internet world. It has been two weeks with no Internet. I have been having withdraws. Not really, but it is a lot different when you don't have it.
We have finally moved to Clinton N.C. and getting settled in. The move went great with no problems. We had some wonderful friends who helped us pack up. It is a lot different here. I guess I can finally say I live in the country!! You can see by the last pic I posted. Everyone here has been wonderful though. We have enjoyed our first two weeks!

Walker was the first to load his things up on the truck.
These are the wonderful men and boys who helped with the move.
Thanks Guys!!

Walker had to help with everything. After everything was out it was time to clean up.

Wayne saying his Goodbyes to his BFF Matt!

Walker saying goodbye to all of his friends. We will miss you guys!!

And this is where we have moved...were pigs walk around in the church parking lot. They tell me this doesn't happen very often, but I am going to have to see it to believe it.

Walker's friends..Bruce and Caleb.

This pic is for Papa. These was parked outside the restaurant.
(it is on his christmas list papa!!)

We have had a busy weekend. Saturday we went with the church to the pumpkin patch. We got to ride out to the field on a hay ride, Walker loved it. He picked himself out a pumpkin and we went back and painted it. As you can see I think he thought pumpkins are suppose to be blue. Then Sunday we had a good bye lunch after church with a bunch of our friends. And now on Monday Reese had a doctors appt and got her first round of shots. She did a great job. She is now up to 11 lbs 8 oz. A growing girl!! Then me Walker and Reese met some friends for lunch and went to the park. Finally we came home and carved the pumpkin, or you can say 'I carved the pumpkin'. Walker thought it was nasty!

My Cow and Cowboy!

Last night we went to a fall festival in town. It was optional to dress up, so of course I dressed the kids. I love cute costumes. Walker loves the movie Toy Story right now so we dressed him up like a cowboy like Woody. He would pull his gun out and say "reach for the sky". So for Reese I wanted something to go along with a cowboy and Wayne said how about a cow. Great idea, a cute little cow. Don't look to close, I made her costume myself. We had a great time. Reese even got her picture taken for the Wake Weekly-the newspaper in town!

I love this picture...she's smiling!!

NC State Fair

When my parents came in last weekend we made them go to the State fair with us. Wayne and I love going just to eat all the junk food! Walker got to ride a lot of rides and Reese loved all the bright lights. We ate...roasted corn, pizza, Cotton candy, ice cream, milkshakes, corn dogs, Fried Sneakers and Cokes. Yum Yum!! We had a blast. My parents had a good time too. We might even go back again!

Turning 30 in Wahington D.C

For my 30th Birthday Wayne took me to Washington D.C. to celebrate. My parents came into town to watch the kids for us (I don't think they would have enjoyed the trip). We had a great time seeing everything. I think we got to see everything we wanted to see except The President. That would have been the coolest!! We walked every where so by the end of the trip I was exhausted. My feet and back were hurting so bad at the end of the trip that we took a taxi to go just about a half of a mile...lazy ugh! but it was fun for Wayne, he had never been in a taxi. Enjoy the pictures...I know there is a lot it was hard to narrow them down.
