Reese is Here!

Reese is finally here and she is so wonderful. Today she is 5 days old and I can't believe she is here. A little bit about her birth- I woke up Monday morning 8/28/08 at 2:30 in the morning with strong contractions. At 4am we got to the hospital and received wonderful treatment by my fellow coworkers. I guess you can say I got extra special care. I received the epidural and was loving life then. Reese was born at 6:56am after only a few minutes of pushing. We are so blessed to have her here with us! We praise God for her!

Reese weighed 7 lbs 13 oz. and was 21 in long!

Walker loved his baby sister. When he would talk to her, she would get all wide eyed and would look around for him.

Last Semester

This is it!! Wayne's last semester at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I can't believe it has almost been two years. Tuesday was the first chapel service for this semester. We took Walker and he did so good. Wayne and I was so proud of him. He sat almost through the whole service (until he had to go potty). Usual he never makes it to the preaching before we have to take him out. We are a little sad that it is almost over, but excited about what is to come.!

Exercise Time

Walker likes to go running with his daddy. Before they go out, he has to get a good stretch in. He does everything his daddy does. We took him to the high school track and he ran 1/2 mile with out stopping. I couldn't believe it. Hopefully he will be like his Nana and Aunt Patty and like to exercise. (oh, and he picked out and put on his own socks!)

Pool Party

Today the children from church got to go to a family's house to swim. Walker had a blast. He wasn't afraid of anything. Ms. Lisa gave him a little life vest to use and it was awesome. He could do everything on his own. The slide was his favorite. He went down it over and over again. By the end of the day he was going down head first, just like superman!!

More swimming lessons!

Walker finished up swimming lessons on thursday. He loved it. He was the youngest in his class, and I think his teacher really favored him. He learned a lot and now can swim and touch the bottom of the pool. Nana also came up for the week and got to see him swim. She bought him some torpedos which he also loves to play with in the tub!
