Nathaniel Visiting!

Our nephew Nathaniel came to visit us this past week !! He got to stay a little over a week! Walker loved it! I tried to keep him busy so he wouldn't get homesick.

One afternoon we got out the slip-n-slide and ate watermelons!! The three of them ate 2 watermelons. There belly's were stuffed!

Playing army was loads of fun for them. Even I jumped in and played, but of course I was the one always dying. Somehow every time I would get them they would have some magical power that wouldn't make them die...fun stuff!

Besides playing their favorite game on the Wii (sword fighting), this is what you would find them doing most of the time.

One day we went to White lake. It is a beautiful lake that is clear and sandy. Great place for kids! Walker and Nathaniel would swim and swim. They also loved jumping of the dock!

Home Again!

We just got back from another week back in Georgia. We had a great time visiting family and friends. I didn't take that many pictures this time, I guess I spent to much time in the pool!

Nana's Pool

We had another great week back home in Georgia. We spent a lot of time in my parents pool. I really wanted Walker to learn how to swim this summer, and he did! The first day that him and his Cousin Nathaniel were together they were both jumping off the diving board swimming to the side. We were so proud of them both. Reese also got a little bit more comfortable in the water.

Tea Stand

Walker had him a Sweet Tea stand this morning! I don't know where he comes up with these ideas but he had it all planned out. After a few minutes of no one stopping I had to call in reinforcements...Daddy. He came home from work to give walker some business. Nana called and said she would buy a dollars worth to keep it in the frig! He had a good time. He even told me and Reese we could have a glass for free...what a sweet boy!

Happy 4th!!

We had a very relaxing day for the 4th! We didn't do much but sit around as a family playing the Wii and Candy Land all day. For dinner we picked up a pizza and had a picnic in town waiting on the fireworks. Of Course Walker had his ear plugs because he hates the loud noises. At dark our friends the Neal's and Darden's showed up to watched the show with us! We enjoyed the night with our friends signing some patriotic songs!!

VBS 2010

CSI:The Case of the empty Tomb

This years VBS was about Christ Seeking Individuals! It was set up like a lab that we investigated the empty tomb. We have a missionary that comes to teach us. This is her third year coming to our church and she is awesome. She really knows how to grab the kids attention and keep it.

I was in charge of crafts this year so for one of our projects we made Tye- dye shirts. We had t-shirts made up with our theme on it and the kids got to dye them. They loved it!!

At the end of each night in the closing ceremony Ms. Jane would pick someone who could say their memory verse and they would get to take her sword and chop a squash. Walker got to do it one night and was so happy! He worked so hard all week on his verses!

Last Game

Walker had his last t-ball game/end of the season party. He loves getting a trophy. This is his 2nd one and loves to show everyone! He thinks it is the best thing in the world.
